Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Jazirah and Okaz newspapers commented on the Kingdom's decision to halt the aid to Lebanese army and internal security forces, saying that the decision on regaining three billion and a half billion dollars came as an immediate response to the shameful positions of the Lebanese Foreign Minister in Cairo and Jeddah who alone refused to condemn Iran's burning of the Saudi embassy and consulate in Tehran and Mashhad during the meetings of the Arab League Council and Islamic Cooperation Organization at the level of foreign ministers. The papers said that the Kingdom's decision to halt the aid to the Lebanese army and internal security forces is the right one after the Lebanese government has turned its back to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by non-confronting the hostile positions being waged against the Kingdom by Hezbollah (Iran's stooge) in spite of all support provided by the Kingdom for Lebanon's stability and prosperity. --More
