Bahrain's Minister of Interior Lt-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today heads of GCC delegations that participated in the first meeting of the work team of the joint security exercise "Arabian Gulf Security 1". At the beginning, Interior Minister welcomed the delegations that take part of the meeting that is being held for the first time in Bahrain from February 15 to 16 as part of cooperation and coordination in exchanging information between regional security authorities. Interior Minister asserted that such meetings and exercises could reinforce joint Gulf security work, directing to provide all necessary support for the exercise. He wished the participants all the best. The exercise is part of the activation of GCC Security Agreement to enhance the skills of various security personnel in dealing with all situations, including fighting terrorism.
