The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's airports record a rise in a number of passengers and flights in 2015 with 81.9 million passengers, an increase of 9.5%, and 646,693 flights, an increase of 9.8%, in comparison with 74.8 million passengers and 589216 flights in 2014. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) disclosed that the number of passengers at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah is 30.1 million passengers with 212,799 flights where King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh reached 22.5 million passengers and 172,754 flights. The GACA added that 9.4 million passengers and 84,803 flights are registered at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and 6.3 million passengers and 48,296 flights at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah. The authority highlighted that 23 regional and domestic airports in the Kingdom recorded 13.5 million passengers and 128041 flights.
