German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced her country's contribution of 3.2 billion Euros for Syrian refugees over the coming three years. She made the announcement on the sidelines of the donors to the victims of the war in Syria and neighboring countries conference held in London today, saying that Germany will provide 1.1 billion Euros of this aid during this year 2016. Germany was planning to provide about one billion Euros aid for Syrian refugees and Merkel spoke in London for another 200 million Euros to support the education of Syrian refugees in 2016, whereas, the total amount of 3.2 billion Euros would be provided by 2018.
