The Secretariat General of the Senior Scholars Council strongly condemned a heinous and terrorist attack targeting worshipers at a mosque in Al-Ahsa province which resulted in the death of two people and wounding seven others within context of failed attempts to destabilize the country and ignite sedition. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Senior Scholars Council stressed that "these terrorist attacks are foiled due to a wisdom of the leadership, alertness of the security officers and awareness of the Saudi people." "These terrorist attacks enhance the Saudi people's believing in Allah Almighty and their keenness in preserving consensus and unity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince," the statement added. The Secretariat General of the Senior Scholars Council urges scholars, thinkers and writers to highlight and intensify on this dangerous terrorist ideology on the nation's unity and components as Allah Almighty said in the Holy Quran: "When Allah took a Covenant from those who were given the Book, You certainly make it clear to the mankind and do not conceal it."
