Deputy Crown Prince and Malaysian Defense minister hold talks, discuss joint cooperation and sign MoU on cooperation in several national defense fields
Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, met at his office in Riyadh today with Malaysian Defense minister Hushamuddin Hussein. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Malaysia on cooperation in the scientific fields and discussed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas. Then they signed a memorandum of understanding between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Malaysia on cooperation in the scientific, technological and industrial fields for national defense purposes. The meeting and the MoU signing ceremony were attended by Mohammed Al-Ayesh, Assistant Minister of Defense; General Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan, Chief of General Staff; and Fahd Al-Issa, Consultant at the Royal Court and general supervisor of the defense minister's office. On the Malaysian side, they were attended by Malaysian ambassador to the Kingdom Zenor Rahim; Col. Ramzi Ahmed, the military advisor to the defense minister, and Janadiya Yousef, Assistant Secretary General for Sovereign Development.
