The Ministerial Meeting of Arab-Indian Cooperation Forum started today its first session in the Bahraini capital, Manama. In a speech delivered by Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, he lauded distinguished relations and cooperation between Arab and Indian sides. For her part, the Minister of External Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of India, Sushma Swaraj, stressed that the meeting will be a turning point in relations between Arab countries and the Republic of India and the historical relations between the two sides. In his turn, the Secretary-General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Elaraby stressed the League's attention to promote relations with the Republic of India and put solid foundations for common views and renewed partnership between the Arab countries and the friendly Republic of India.
