Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Chairman of the current session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, said that the extraordinary meeting of the council of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns the aggressions on the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tehran and its Consulate General in Mashhad, stressing that it is a clear and strong message from the Islamic nation to Iran. In a press statement following the meeting today, he said that all countries participating in the meeting focused on the principles underlying the organization, which are non-interference in the internal affairs of states, as well as respect for international conventions, noting that these principles are agreed upon and respected by everyone. He added that everyone condemns the attack on the embassy and the consulate of the kingdom in Iran, pointing out that Iran must respect the Vienna Convention 61 and 63, with regard to the protection of diplomatic and consular missions.
