Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi commission for Tourism and National Heritage met here yesterday Director General of Cultural Heritage Administration in People's Republic of China Liu Yazho. During the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation between the Kingdom and China in the areas of antiquities and heritage, the arrangements to hold the Exhibition of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Archaeological Masterpieces through Ages" in the Peoples Republic of China, and the visiting Chinese exhibition in Riyadh at the National Museum during the current year 2016, as well as the cooperation in the areas of archaeological excavations, handicrafts and taking advantage of China's long experience in these areas. Also they signed an agreement between the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, and the Cultural Heritage Administration in the People's Republic of China for holding the ''Exhibition of Trade Routes in Arabian Peninsula, Kingdom's Archaeological Masterpieces' through ages" later this year 2016 in China, in the framework of the memorandum of understanding between the Commission for Tourism National Heritage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Cultural Heritage Administration in the People's Republic of China for cooperation and exchange of knowledge in the field of cultural heritage approved by the Cabinet in its session yesterday.
