The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that took place on Thursday in Quetta city, Pakistan, near a center for distributing vaccines for children leading to killing 15 people and injuring dozens. The OIC Secretary General Iyad Amin Madani expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery to the injured. He stressed that such criminal acts are totally incompatible with the human principles and noble Islamic values. The Secretary General restated the principled position of the OIC that vigorously denounces all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all their forms and manifestations, calling for a combination of all international efforts to combat the scourge of terrorism and to address its causes in order to ensure the security and the interests of all peoples alike.
