The UAE condemned today the terrorist bombing that targeted the Sultanahmet district in central Istanbul, killing and injuring dozens of people. According to WAM, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed "the UAE's stance which rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever its motives and justifications, or parties behind it." The statement also called for intensified and concerted efforts on the part of the international community to eradicate this serious scourge and find radical solutions to eradicate this phenomenon, which contradicts all human values and morals. The ministry offered its heartfelt condolences and solace to the families of the victims, wishing those injured speedy recovery. Meanwhile, the ministry also strongly condemned another terrorist attack that shook the New Baghdad on Monday, targeting the commercial area, killing and injuring tens of innocent people. The statement said, "These criminal acts are contrary to all religious values, and aimed at destabilising the security and stability, as well as terrorising and killing the innocent people." It added that the UAE has extended its condolences to the families of the victims killed in this heinous incident, and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
