Kingdom condemns attack on UAE relief convoy in Somalia

The Kingdom Saudi Arabia on Thursday strongly condemned the attack that targeted on Wednesday a United Arab Emirates (UAE) relief convoy including the UAE Ambassador in the Somali capital of Mogadishu resulting in killing and wounding a number of innocent people.
The Head of Information Department at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Osama Nuqali stressed the Kingdom's condemnation of these cowardly terrorist acts that are contrary to all humanitarian principles and values, confirming the Kingdom's stand with the United Arab Emirates in its relief efforts.
The Ambassador expressed his congratulation to the UAE for the safety of its delegation and also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of the Republic of Somalia and its people, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
