legitimate forces hostile to the Yemeni government and its negative impact on the security and stability of Yemen, the neighboring countries and the region in general. The council agreed on setting up an effective mechanism to tackle these Iranian interferences, calling on the international community to take the necessary measures to coerce Iran to respect the principle of good neighborliness in word and deed, stop its destabilizing activities in the region, cease its support for terrorism, desist from interference in the internal affairs of the GCC countries and other countries in the region and refrain from using or threatening to use force against others. The council stressed that Iran's interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries fuels sectarianism and doesn't serve peace and security in the Middle East region and the world at large. It is as well incompatible with the principles of good neighborliness, non-interference in the internal affairs of others and the respect for their sovereignty. It noted that this Iranian interference leads to aggravate situations and spark more crises in the region. The statement stated that Lebanon's delegation to the meeting decided not to join the communique after the Council of Arab Ministers has rejected its request that a phrase mentioning Hezbollah of Lebanon be deleted, explaining that the party is an integral part of Lebanon's House of Representatives and the Council of Ministers.
