The U.S.-led coalition battling Daesh conducted 28 airstrikes against the extremist group in Iraq and Syria Tuesday, the Combined Joint Task Force said Wednesday. The task force said in a statement that four airstrikes near four Syrian cities struck tactical units and an oil pump station, and destroyed two vehicles and an excavator. In Iraq, the statement said, 24 strikes concentrated near Mosul and Ramadi struck bunkers, fighting positions, and explosive devices, among other targets.
