President Abdrabbou Mansour Hadi of Yemen has received a telephone call from British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Tobias Ellwood, it was reported here today. The state-run Yemeni News Agency, which carried the news, said that, during the conversation, which took place last night, the two sides discussed the progress of consultations made by the delegation of the legitimate government with Houthi militia and Saleh delegation in Switzerland. President Hadi confirmed the sincerity of the government's will to overcome the current crisis the country is witnessing. He said the outcome should be based on the GCC initiative and executive mechanism, the comprehensive national dialogue conference outcome, Riyadh conference and implementation of UN Security Council resolution No. 2216. For his part, the British minister lauded the instructions of President Hadi to his men to remain observed to ceasefire, confirming the stance of his country by the side of Yemen's security, stability, unity and constitutional legitimacy.
