Qatari Cabinet welcomed the outcome of the 36th session of the GCC Supreme Council, held recently in Riyadh. The Cabinet confirmed that the Riyadh Declaration enhances the GCC drive and opens for it new prospects for further cooperation, solidarity and integration for the realization of GCC peoples' aspirations and the confirmation of the joint keenness on the security, stability and prosperity of the region. The Cabinet praised the wisdom and efforts of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud which have had a great effect on the summit's positive results that lived up to the challenges and requirements of the stage. The Cabinet also welcomed the formation of an Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism. The Cabinet viewed the alliance, which comprises 34 Islamic states, as a significant and positive step in fighting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations whatever their sources and justifications.
