The Council of Saudi Chambers has held recently a meeting with an Australian parliamentary delegation headed by Chairwoman of Foreign Relations, Defense and Trade Committee in the Australian Parliament Teresa Gambaro, in the presence of a number of Saudi businessmen and the participation of Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Ralph King. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation and ways of enhancing relations between the two countries. It is note worthy that Australia is one of the major trading partners of the Kingdom and ranks 17th among the largest exporters to the Kingdom and 41st among the largest importing countries in 2014, and the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to about $ 2.8 billion.
