Sharq and Okaz newspapers drew attention to Yemen's ceasefire agreement which will be effective as of 12 pm in concurrence with the start of negotiations in Switzerland between the government and the coup rebels today. Okaz quoted Mukhtar Al-Rahbi, the press secretary in the Yemeni presidency as stressing that the government is committed to the truce that has been announced, while Yemeni sources questioned the coup militias' commitment to the cease-fire. Al-Sharq commented saying that in spite of the declaration of trust in Yemeni conflict, the coup militias and their allied forces of deposed president Saleh were still continuing the destruction of infrastructure across Yemen.
