The Saudi-Algerian Committee concluded here today its 11th session in Riyadh with co-chairmanship of Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Abdurrahman bin Khalfa, Algerian Minister of Finance. In his speech, Dr. Fawzan highlighted the important role of the committee in enhancing cooperation between the two countries. The two sides signed three partnership agreements between the governments of the two countries, including cooperation agreement in the field of shipping, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Saudi Stock Exchange and Algiers Stock Exchange in addition to work program for cooperation in the field of planning, foresight and statistics between the Ministry of Economy and Planning in the Kingdom, and the Ministry of Finance in Algeria. The joint committee also discussed a number of issues of common interest in addition to aspects of cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, science, education and culture.
