RIYADH – The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has started issuing industrial license for foreign investors. In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry said that it is mandatory for foreign investors to have industrial license to carry out any industrial activity. It also unveiled plans to enforce industrial license for Saudi investors in future. “Only those who have valid investor license from the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) will be allowed to operate any industrial activity. The investor license will be a prerequisite for issuing license to foreign investors,” the ministry said. — SPA
