A Saudi Shura delegation arrived in London on Sunday. The delegation was led by Prince Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Mashari member of the Shura Council and chairman of the Saudi-British Parliamentary Friendship Committee. The delegation will hold talks with British parliamentarians and officials to promote Saudi-British relations and cooperation particularly in the parliamentary field. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the importance of the visit in strengthening relations between the Shura Council and the British Parliament He said that the delegation is seeking through this visit and other visits by parliamentary friendship committees to convey the correct image of the kingdom to other parliaments, as well as serving causes of interest to the kingdom, noting that the visit will deal with the efforts of Kingdom Saudi Arabia and its effective role in regional issues.
