Sheikh welcomed the Speakers of Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States in their second country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He forwarded thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the care he offers to the 9th routine meeting of the heads of Shura, representatives, national and nation councils of the GCC and his keenness to activate the cooperation march among the GCC states in all fields. He also extended thanks to the Speaker of the Shura Council of Qatar, the President of the last session, Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi on his performance during the 8th rotatory session. Dr. Al Al-Sheikh also lauded the role of the GCC to achieve coordination and integration of the member states in all fields to reach their unity and consolidate ties among their peoples, confirming that such ordinary meetings are set to enhance efforts to support the ties of cooperation and coordination through the councils of Shura, representatives, national and nation of the GCC to achieve the aspirations of the leaders of the council and their peoples, particularly the council's development, prosperity, security and stability. He cited the Israeli violations of Palestinian sanctities, the developments in Yemen, the chaos in Syria and Iraq as well as the terrorist acts here and there in the region and the entire world as enough to trigger the parliamentary diplomacy to contribute to solving the problems and seeking remedy to them together with the current political efforts being exerted to enhance stability and security in the regional and international arenas. He expressed his colleagues' appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and other GCC leaders for their keenness and efforts to achieve the development of their countries and the support for and in defense of Arab nation's issues.
