A number of extremist settlers Sunday broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem through the Bab Al-Magharebah Gate, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. The Islamic Awqaf Department in occupied Jerusalem said in a statement that the settlers made a proactive tour at the Al-Aqsa yards. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers continued their tight measures against Palestinian youth and seized their ID cards before allowing them to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Israeli police also prevented around 60 Palestinian women and girls from entering the mosque, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
