Newly-appointed Saudi ambassador to Jordan Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah offered his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for appointing him as ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve the interests and develop the relations between the two countries. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he described the Saudi Jordanian relations as distinguished, deep-rooted with identical policies, expressing determination to preserve these relations, boost them to the highest political and economic levels and upgrade the relations between the two peoples to the highest degrees of interrelations. Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah arrived in Amman early this morning to assume his post. At Amman international airport, he was received by Saudi Charge d'affaires in Amman Tareq bin Mohammed Rashwan, embassy staff, a representative of the Jordanian ministry of foreign affairs, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ambassadors accredited to Jordan.
