Secretary General of Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation Iyad bin Amin Madani today strongly condemned the terrorist attacks that took place in the French capital of Paris on Friday, killing and injuring a large number of innocent people. In a press release, Madani expressed condolence to the families of the victims and the French government and people, wishing the injured quick recovery and confirming OIC's stand by France in these difficult times and readiness to provide all possible assistance. He rejected such terrorist acts that tamper the international humanitarian values of freedom and equality, always receive support of France, he said, renewing OIC's firm position based on the basic Islamic principles, condemning terrorism in all its forms. He called on all governments, international organizations and civil society foundations in all countries of the world to continue stand in one row and work together to fight the plague of terrorism which became the first enemy of humanity.
