The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the leaders of Arab and South American countries and all participants in the 4th Summit of Arab and South American countries to be held in Riyadh tomorrow and after tomorrow, Muharram 28-29, 1437 H, corresponding to November 10-11, 2015, wishing them a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing hope that the summit will be crowned with success and contribute to further enhancement of relations between the two sides in various political, economic and social fields. The King briefed the Cabinet on the results of his talks with President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir of the Republic of Sudan and President Ikililou Dhoinine of the Republic of Comoros; and his meetings with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of United Arab Emirates, Chief of Pakistani Army General Raheel Sharif, Head of United States Government Accountability Office Gene L. Dodaro, and Director General of International Monetary Fund Ms. Christine Lagarde. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency following the session that the Cabinet expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Kingdom's efforts and care for the Holy Quran, considering King Abdulaziz International Competition for Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation and Intonation in its 37th session whose final qualifications being held at the Grand Holy Mosque under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the participation of 124 contestants from 66 countries, as one of the manifestations of the State's attention, since its foundation, to the Holy Quran's dissemination, memorization, recitation and interpretation. --More 15:13 LOCAL TIME 12:13 GMT تغريد
