The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attaches special importance to its relations with Japan at various levels, where the economic sphere is at the top in the interest of the two countries priorities and trade and economic interests are important pillars of bilateral relations. Mutual visits between senior officials of the Kingdom stressed the keenness to enhance and strengthen the comprehensive partnership and cooperation in various fields that serve the interests and prosperity of the two countries. Japan has now become the third trade partner of the Kingdom and the second partner in the field of petrochemical investment and a large number of investment opportunities in the Kingdom are awaiting Japan in many areas, including industry, energy, environment, infrastructure, finance, education, health, workforce development and services.
