China's foreign trade dropped 9 per cent year on year in October in the eighth consecutive month of decline, official figures showed Sunday, according to dpa. The contraction, to 2.06 trillion yuan (324.62 billion dollars), was greater than the 8.8 per cent drop in September, the General Administration of Customs said. Exports were down 3.6 per cent and imports plunged 16 per cent in October. China revised down 2014 GDP growth from 7.4 to 7.3 per cent, the weakest annual expansion in 24 years.
