Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry received a telephone call today from Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov. During the telephone conversation, the Russian Foreign Minister briefed his Egyptian counterpart on the outcome of the ministerial meeting held in Vienna yesterday. In a statement, Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said the Egyptian Foreign Minister and his Russian counterpart agreed on continuing consultations and coordination on the Syrian crisis.
