Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received a telephone call from his US counterpart, John Kerry, during which they discussed developments in the regional issues in the Middle East that concern the two countries, including the cause of Palestine and the situations in Libya, Iraq, Yemen and the Syrian crisis. Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ambassador Badr Abdel A'ti said in a statement today that the two ministers discussed the ways to achieve more joint coordination on various international issues of interest to the two countries, especially the United Nations and its specialized agencies.
