Two suicide bombings at mosques in north-eastern Nigeria killed at least 37 people Friday, emergency services officials and a witness said according to dpa. At least 27 people died and more than 90 were injured in Yola when a bomber rushed into a crowd of worshippers leaving a mosque after prayers, national emergency agency coordinator Saad Bello said. Thirty people were also taken to hospital after being injured in a stampede that followed the explosion, an emergency services official who requested anonymity said. At least 10 worshippers in Maiduguri were killed when a bomber walked into the Subhi Mosque during morning prayers and detonated explosives in the middle of the faithful, witness Ali Garba said.
