Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and US President Barack Obama have discussed in a phone call friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries, ways to enhance them, and issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest developments in the region. During the telephone call, they also confirmed the distinguished relations between the two countries in all fields. They reviewed a number of dossiers of joint interest, especially the latest developments in the Syrian crises, the situation in Yemen, and combating extremism and terrorism in the region. The two sides also expressed their joint desire to support pillars of peace and stability in the region and the importance of putting an end to the crises that cause threats and dangers for the region's countries and peoples, WAM reported.
