AlHijjah 23, 1436, Oct 7, 2015, SPA -- Hurricane Joaquim in weakening as it moves quickly across the Atlantic Ocean, U.S. forecasters said Wednesday. The storm's maximum sustained winds early Wednesday decreased to near 120 kilometers per hour (kph), with additional weakening expected, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. The hurricane was centered about 650 kilometers south-southeast of Newfoundland, Canada and was moving east-northeast near 52 kph, the NHC said.
