AlHijjah 18, 1436, October 2, 2015, SPA -- U.S. President Barack Obama Friday offered his and First Lady Michelle Obama's "deepest condolences and sympathies" to the families of the six American airmen and five contractors killed in a military plane crash in Afghanistan. A U.S. C-130 transport plane crashed while taking off in Jalalabad early Friday. Two Afghan civilians on the ground were also killed. "In addition to the Americans we mourn, we also are saddened that Afghan civilians lost their lives in this incident," Obama said in a statement. The cause of the crash has not been determined.
