American transport plane crashes in Afghanistan -U.S. official

AlHijjah 18, 1436, October 02, 2015, SPA -- An American C-130 transport plane crashed at Jalalabad airport in Afghanistan around midnight local time (1930 GMT Thursday), a U.S. defense official said on Thursday, according to Reuters.
The status of passenger members and crew on the plane was unknown, the official said.
