AlHijjah 15, 1436, September 29, 2015, SPA -- The German cabinet will present legislation to parliament intended to speed up the asylum-seeking process, repatriate those rejected for asylum more quickly and facilitate construction of accommodation for refugees, officials said Tuesday, according to dpa. The legislation, which is to be debated in the lower house, the Bundestag, as early as Thursday, comes as an average of 10,000 migrants are reported to be flowing into Germany every day, despite the introduction of border controls. Under the new rules, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro are to be rated as "safe countries of origin," with the result that applications for asylum from their citizens will be unlikely to succeed. The same already applies to other parts of the former Yugoslavia.
