AlHijjah 7, 1436, Sep 21, 2015, SPA -- US President Barack Obama will host Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Washington on October 26, the White House announced Monday. "The President looks forward to charting with President Widodo a new phase for the U.S.-Indonesian partnership," White House spokesperson Josh Earnest said in a statement. "As leaders of two of the largest democracies in the world, the President and President Widodo will discuss plans to expand existing areas of bilateral cooperation, including in defense, trade and investment, climate and energy, as well ways to pursue new growth areas for the partnership, such as maritime cooperation," Earnest said. "They will also discuss ways to address a range of regional and global challenges," the spokesperson said.
