AlHijjah 6, 1436, Sep 20, 2015, SPA -- Arab Human Rights Committee "the Charter Committee" confirmed importance of corroborating cooperation with the UN mechanisms to protect human rights, in the context of ongoing pursuance of reaching out and overture towards all regional as well as international human rights mechanisms. In a statement announced here today the Chairman of the committee Dr. Hadi bin Ali Al-Yammi said that the committee concluded a visit to the UN premises, in Geneva, pointing out that he has reviewed, during the visit, with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad Al Hussein and Joachim Rücker, President of the Human Rights Council, efforts exerted by the Arab Human Rights Committee to monitor human rights situation, in countries signatory to the Arab Charter of Human Rights.
