AlQa'dah 28, 1436, Sep 12, 2015, SPA -- Israeli forces arrested seven Palestinians during overnight raids in several towns in the occupied West Bank, while Palestinian youths clashed with police in an Arab neighborhood in East Jerusalem, according to Palestinian sources. The Palestinian Interior Ministry said Israeli forces carried out raids in the cities of Hebron, Nablus and Jenin in their daily arrests of suspected activists across the occupied territories. In occupied Jerusalem, dozens of Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli police and paramilitary border guards in the Arab neighborhood of Silwan, just outside the walled Old City of Jerusalem, Jordan News Agency (Petra) quoted the Wadi al-Halwa Information Centre as saying. It said confrontations with stone-throwing youths broke out last night and continued into the early morning hours Saturday in Silwan, a flashpoint on the edge of the Al Aqsa Mosque compound. It said many of the injured were elderly people, who were treated on the spot for minor injuries, but three had to be taken to hospital after Israeli police and Jewish settlers used pepper spray during the clashes, which were sparked after a settler attacked a Palestinian boy.
