Jubeir pointed out that the talks dealt with cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America in the areas of energy and environmental protection, stressing that the strategic partnership between the two countries covers all aspects. On terrorism, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said that the Kingdom is one of the first countries that fought terrorism and terrorist financing, and the laws of the Kingdom criminalize the financing of terrorist organizations to stop the flow of funding to terrorists, regardless of the source. He explained that the talks between the two sides also discussed the nuclear deal with Iran, where President Obama has assured the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques that the agreement prevents Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
