Isa said that according to statistics in 2015, the number of students who are supervised by the cultural mission reached (125,513 male and female students on scholarships) of them: 75,205 male and female students on scholarships (57,303 male students and 17,902 female students), and the rest of this number were the companions; and (9504) are studying at their own expenses. He further said that the number of Saudi students on scholarships who are studying at their own expenses amounted to 9,504. Nowadays and in a continuation of the prudent Saudi government's support for the process of education in the Kingdom by taking advantage of the experience of the US universities, as many as (10491 male and female candidates) have been nominated for admission to the 10th stage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Foreign Scholarship Program for 2015, which is the highest number of Saudi students on scholarship in the history of the program. The number of candidates for admission to doctorate's degree reached (627), (1397) for Medical Fellowship, (6741) for master's degree and (1726) for Bachelor of Medicine and Medical Science.
