The Ministry of Higher Education has set the first of August as the start date for receiving applications for the fifth stage of the King's scholarship program for scholarships abroad. The ministry said only medical subjects would be considered for applicants of bachelor degrees, while applications for other degrees would be considered according to the needs of each region. Bachelor degree applicants must be no older than 22 years of age, while master's degree applicants must be 27 or younger. Candidates for doctorates must be 30 years old or under. The ministry said it would consider admissions for the three qualifications in the subjects of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacology, Applied Medical Sciences, Basic Sciences, Nano Technology, Law, Accounting, E-Commerce, Insurance, Finance, and Marketing. Bachelor degree applicants, the ministry said, are to have obtained no less than 2.75 out of 4 or 3.75 of 5, or 80 percent in their average accumulated grades average, and their certificate must be no older than five years.
