AlQa'dah 3, 1436, Aug 18, 2015, SPA -- More than 100,000 migrants arrived at the European Union's borders in July, the highest monthly figure since records begun seven years ago, the bloc's border agency Frontex reported Tuesday, dpa reported. "This is an emergency situation for Europe that requires all EU member states to step in to support the national authorities who are taking on a massive number of migrants at [their] borders," said Frontex chief Fabrice Leggeri. The exact July figure was 107,500, Frontex said in a statement, compared to the previous record of more than 70,000 in June. The January-July tally for 2015 reached nearly 340,000, versus 123,500 for the same period of 2014 and 280,000 for the full year. -- SPA 18:54 LOCAL TIME 15:54 GMT تغريد
