Madinah, Okaz and Al-Sharq newspapers commended the visit being paid by Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir to Moscow, saying that it reflected the importance of the Saudi role in resolving the crises in the region, and widening the circle of this role from the regional level to the international level, noting the presence of a clear joint factor in the rapprochement of positions of the two countries regarding most political files. Al-Riyadh newspaper said that the acceleration of international activity regarding Syria and the steps taken, which were out of question a year ago, put us in front of the prospects for a solution ripening under the major powers, particularly Moscow, which feels the weak position of Al-Assad's regime.
