The University of Queensland in Australia has honored Hossam bin Mamoun Zawawi, the Saudi student on scholarship for doctoral degree from Riyadh's National Guard Hospital to the Australian University of Queensland's Clinical Research Center for his excellence in his innovative research projects on protection of human health from the risk of bacterial resistance to antibiotics. The Queensland University also honored him by putting his photo on a large advertisement banner on a highway in Brisbane city of Queensland state, describing him as the maker of change. On the occasion, the Saudi Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand Nabil bin Mohammed Al Saleh, congratulated the Saudi student on scholarship Hossam Zawawi, and praised his scientific and research excellence. The ambassador commended the achievements of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Foreign Scholarship Program for confident steps towards achieving the aspirations of the wise leadership in the development of human resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
