Two people were injured in a chemical accident in the northern German port city of Hamburg and are in intensive care, dpa cited police as reporting on Friday. A total of 19 people, including two police officers, had to be taken to hospital after an acidic liquid leaked out of its container in a chemical plant in the district of Billbrook late Thursday for an as yet unknown reason. Rescue workers attended to 150 people at the scene, 45 of whom complained of breathing difficulties.
