A number of scout leaders participating in the 23rd World Jamboree Scout Camp in Japan have praised the participation of Saudi Arabian Scout Team in this camp, which includes more than 32,000 scouts. In remarks to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) they appreciated the Saudi support for the work of world scouting through the World Scout project, the Messengers of Peace, which came by the Kingdom's will and global implementation and vision, and its working hours reached more than 680 million hours since its inception in the Kingdom in 2011. The former head of World Scout Committee Simon Rey considered that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the main national Scout associations in the development of the World Scout Movement through the great support provided for the scouts, and support for the participation of scouts in all global programs, and its concern for the development of the local programs at home and abroad. For his part, the Secretary General of the Organization of Arab Scout Dr. Atef Abdel Majeed expressed his pride of Saudi scout participation in regional and global forums.
