Prosecutors in northern Mexico said that 11 men are dead and five others are wounded following an ambush on a road, AP reported. The Durango state's Attorney General's Office said in a statement that the men were attacked Saturday night while traveling in three pickup trucks along a road in the municipality of San Dimas, near the border of Durango and Sinaloa states. State Attorney General Sonia de la Garza said Monday in an interview with Milenio TV that state and federal authorities were investigating. She said no weapons were found with the bodies of those killed.
