Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia met in Amman this evening with the Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Ensour, where they discussed the bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries and ways of developing, enhancing and expanding them. The two sides stressed the keenness of the leaderships and other levels of the two countries to continue coordination, consultation and cooperation on various issues being experienced by the region between, pointing to the identity of views between the two countries on various issues. Al-Jubeir described the Saudi-Jordanian relations as strategic and deep-rooted, pointing out that Jordan is an important ally and partner of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and confirmed that Jordan's security and stability is very important for the Kingdom. The two sides also discussed efforts to deal with the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism that devastate the region and the world, and which the two countries have suffered from, stressing the importance of the concerted efforts of all parties in the fight against terrorism and terrorist gangs who used the Islamic religion as a cover and they have nothing to do with any religion. The Jordanian Prime Minister praised the existing relations between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan and thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its supportive stands and its support for Jordan. The meeting was attended by Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Jodeh and Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh.
