Answering a question on the Syrian crisis, Jodah said that his country backs a political solution to the Syrian crisis and that there are international contacts with all concerned parties, in order to reach a peaceful settlement of this crisis, in a way that would guarantee the territorial integrity of Syria and its people's national unity. Jodah stressed the importance of returning to the accord made, during Geneva 1, in order to reach a stage that would end the current situation and restore to Syria its previous status, so that the process could bring about all components of the Syrian society to decide about their country's future.
